About The Position

At Aura Bora, we make weird water for all creatures! That means craft sparkling water from herbs, fruits, and flowers - for earthly tastes and heavenly feelings. We’re one of the fastest-growing sparkling water brands in the country (sold at more than 4,000 retailers), and we’re looking for a VP of Sales to join our team.

In this role, you’ll serve as a critical member of our Leadership team, working to co-author and execute our retail expansion strategy. You’ll be a key liaison with our network of buyers, brokers, and merchandisers, contributing to our overall growth by going deeper in existing accounts and channels while also opening up new opportunities.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the functional leader of our retail sales team, setting the overarching team direction and culture.
• Collaborate on the development and execution of our retail growth, including setting channel and accounts strategies to drive sustained and continual growth (in velocities and dollars).
• Manage our promotional calendars to ensure we are meeting our consumers where they shop.
• Lead our retail sales forecasting efforts and working with key cross-functional partners to ensure that we are all working toward the same plan.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with our brokers and merchandisers to ensure that we are achieving objectives and executing properly.
• Serve as the primary brand contact with our retail buyers, including travel as needed when making headquarter calls and to other trade events.

You should have:

• Experience in CPG sales - with beverage experience being a big plus
• Built a brand through fast growth into and across new channels; you’re a player-coach who knows the devil is in the details
• Managed a team before, and believe in mentoring and growing your talent
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor, even in the stressful moments
• An ability to translate organizational imperatives and strategies into action
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other productivity tools
• An “all in it together” mentality to getting things done
